Real estate development potential & marketing evaluation for Mt Washington Village, Vancouver Island, BC. 

To develop this winter ski destination into a year-round integrated resort community and significant tourist attraction required visioning, market & economic development & implementation strategies, including marketing plan evaluation. We completed a market and economic study including implementation strategies. Uses examined included hotel, residential, retail, entertainment, and cultural/arts as well as an array of outdoor recreation and eco-tourism activities and programs. We helped them obtain their rezoning, completed their detailed neighbourhood planning and assisted to secure joint venture partners.

Downtown Fernie, B.C.

We completed a market study and remerchandising strategy for a vacant department store to anchor the downtown area while mitigating the competing highway commercial outside its core and attract tourists downtown.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, B.C.

Commercial development and merchandising strategy for Kicking Horse Mountain Resort as well as the concept, design, merchandising and identification of suppliers for its major anchor, the KH General Store.

Vail Valley Center, Vail Colorado

This project required a highest & Best Use Development Strategy and Master Plan for 190 acre mixed use, pedestrian oriented town center development serving the entire Vail Valley. Uses included retail, hotels, offices/business park, residential, institutional, Cultural Arts Recreation & Entertainment & Education (CARE) facilities and other tourism uses.

Beaver Creek Village, Vail, Colorado

We completed repositioning, market study and design strategies for CARE (Cultural, Arts, Retail, Education & Entertainment) uses and facilities, including a 425-seat performing arts theatre and various cultural and arts packages, to revitalize this resort community’s pedestrian oriented town center village.


The Shops at Woodlake, Kohler, Wisconsin

We submitted remerchandising recommendations for this upscale pedestrian oriented Town Center situated within this master planned community, the world headquarters of the Kohler Corporation.

The Plaza, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

We completed remerchandising and marketing recommendations for an upscale resort shopping village anchoring this pedestrian oriented downtown and lakeside hotel complex.

We provided retail development & merchandising strategy for this MXD located in downtown McCall including development & design guidelines to help integrate & revitalize downtown McCall & strengthen it as a tourist resort destination.

Lincoln Cove Resort and Residential Community, South Australia, Australia

To position this community as a major tourism destination situated near South Australia's premiere wine and cultural districts required Retail Commercial & Tourism Development Strategy and Marketing Evaluation.

Sanctuary Cove Resort and Residential Community, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia

We needed to develop and implement a marketing plan to ensure synergy between these facilities so they would be marketed as an integrated resort community and major tourist attraction. This required Marketing Analysis of Retail, Hotel, Recreation, and Residential components. Mixed use commercial development, Coolangatta, Gold Coast.

To ensure the highest & best use development strategy for vacant waterfront parcels (owned by Lend Lease) situated within a seaside resort community, we examined uses including hotel, residential, retail, spa/wellness & medical offices.
